Features

Roasting

High-quality sesame seeds are carefully selected for the tahini-making process. Before grinding, the sesame seeds are roasted to enhance their flavor and aroma. The roasting process can vary, resulting in different levels of roastiness. Lightly roasted seeds produce a milder and nuttier tahini, while heavily roasted seeds yield a more robust and intense flavor profile.

Grinding

Once the sesame seeds are roasted to perfection, they are crushed or ground to release their natural oils. This step is crucial in achieving the desired creamy consistency of tahini. Traditionally, tahini was made using stone mills, where the seeds were slowly ground to maintain the integrity of the oils. Nowadays, modern machinery is often employed, ensuring efficiency and consistency while preserving the rich flavor and velvety texture

Texture and Consistency

Tahini can exhibit varying degrees of thickness and smoothness. The texture can be influenced by factors such as the roasting level, the grinding process, and the quality of the sesame seeds used. Lighter tahinis tend to have a smoother and creamier consistency, while heavier tahinis may have a slightly grainier texture.

Pricing

The pricing of our tahini is influenced by several factors. Firstly, the cost of the raw materials plays a role in determining the overall price. Additionally, the pricing is also influenced by the capacity that the customer is ordering, as larger quantities may offer certain economies of scale. Furthermore, it's important to consider the fluctuation of the Iranian Rial against the US Dollar, as exchange rate variations can impact the final price. We strive to provide competitive and transparent pricing, taking these factors into account to offer the best value to our customers.
